GACC COLLABORATES WITH JOY FM TO INTENSIFY THE FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION
As a radio station that has gained commendable respect for hosting important programmes on issues relating to the sustenance of Ghana's democracy and development as a whole, GACC felt it was appropriate to pay a courtesy call to Joy FM to seek collaboration on important national issues. The Management of Joy FM was led by Mr. Kofi Owusu, the Programmes Director. GACC requested for collaboration to broadcast public policy dialogues on specific anti-corruption issues, offer 15 minutes slot on Joy FM Super Morning Show to members of the Coalition to discuss their activities, and also promote activities of the anti-corruption week in December. The team also proposed that they would in future acknowledge comments from GACC on the content of some of the programmes they run and also to provide some technical inputs to some of the issues to streamline the policy discussions. The GACC team was led by the Chairman, Rev. Dr. Fred Deegbe with Mr. Kojo Asante, Mr. Bright Blewu, Mrs. Florence Dennis and staff at the Secretariat in attendance.
