Corruption is the abuse of power, economic, political and administrative, which leads to personal or group benefits at the expense of the rights and legal interest of the individual, the specific community or the whole society. Corruption is a developmental issue and affects the society and developing countries such as Ghana.

The Ghana Anti-corruption Coalition is a cross-sectoral grouping of public, private and civil society organizations with the sole aim of building a national effort to confront the problem of corruption and devise effective control measures. The GACC was launched on January 31^st 2001.
